Mission

Key people, not Keywords

Recruitment needs a rethink.

100+ applicants for every job post, filtered down by an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) based on keywords and opaque variables. Our skills and history are being synthesised and plugged into an algorithm. Even if you avoid the dreaded templated, ‘unfortunately your skill set……’ rejection email and make the next round, feedback is hard to come by. Rinse and repeat.

Sounds great if you’re a recruiter right? Wrong - just like your candidates, your role is being commoditised and diminished, even though you want to offer something better.

The Truth.

Instead, what we know to be true:

  1. Skills can be taught - attitude less so.

  2. Great companies are the sum of great teams, made up of great diverse people.

  3. Past performance is not a predictor of future success.

  4. You are only as good as the ship you are on.

  5. Success is not a straight line.

  6. A quality recommendation is worth a 1000 resumes.

Agree?

If you also agree with the above, The Kitty Project, is setting the stage for a reframing of the recruitment process for both sides.  Behind closed doors, we have already signed up 20 founding partners from both sides of the Atlantic. We are now signing up 80 further in-house recruiters across the U.K and U.S, along with 100 market industry specialists to be part of the first launch.

Take Action.

In the spirit of our manifesto, and to preserve the ethos of what we are building, we are inviting applications from forward thinking companies, with 25+ employees who have an internal recruitment team of 3+. Behind the scenes we will review feedback of your recruitment process from wider sources. The 100+ industry experts will be sourced from those with 7+ years industry experience, and positive, well recognised feedback from their networks.

Sounds opaque? Absolutely. We are deliberately being coy with details as to avoid applications from bad faith actors.  But what we can promise, is that everyone who applies will provided with more information, increasing upon acceptance.
